Thousands march in Brasilia in Lula's Support
Some 10,000 supporters of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's government protested against corruption and the possibility that conservative lawmakers might seek the president's impeachment.
The march took place on the Esplanada dos Ministerios, a wide avenue on which the building of the three branches of government stand, and made a stop at the Treasury Ministry.
With angry chants and speeches, the marchers attacked the centrist and conservative parties spearheading efforts to impeach and ultimately remove the president.
